Slot Marketplace & siQoS

The Slot Marketplace is the core mechanism that allows Raiku to turn blockspace into a market-priced, schedulable resource with execution guarantees.

What Is the Slot Marketplace?

A slot is a fixed execution window on Solana. Each slot has limited capacity and cannot include every transaction during periods of high demand.

The Slot Marketplace is Raiku’s system for allocating this limited capacity through explicit markets instead of fee guessing or spam.

From Fee Guessing to Market Pricing

Without Raiku

  • • Guess priority fees
  • • Spam transactions
  • • Hope for inclusion

With Raiku

  • • State execution intent
  • • Participate in auctions
  • • Receive guarantees

What Is siQoS?

siQoS stands for Slot Inclusion Quality of Service. It is Raiku’s execution guarantee.

siQoS ensures that a transaction will be included in a specific slot under agreed economic conditions.

Important: siQoS is not a priority fee. It is a contractual execution commitment.

siQoS vs Priority Fees

Priority Fees

  • • Probabilistic inclusion
  • • No guarantees
  • • Spam-friendly

siQoS

  • • Guaranteed inclusion
  • • Deterministic execution
  • • Market-backed commitments

JIT & AOT Auctions in the Marketplace

The Slot Marketplace supports two types of demand: immediate execution and future scheduling.

JIT Auctions

Sealed-bid auctions used for latency-critical execution in the next available slot.

AOT Auctions

English auctions used to reserve blockspace in future slots with predictable pricing.

Why This Reduces Spam & MEV Waste

By requiring economic commitments, the Slot Marketplace discourages spam and reduces wasted MEV.

Only transactions that truly value execution participate, improving efficiency for the entire network.

Why the Slot Marketplace Matters

The Slot Marketplace transforms Solana from a best-effort execution environment into reliable infrastructure.

This reliability is what enables institutional finance, autonomous systems, and advanced on-chain applications.
